Cameron trained extensively at Centrestage Performing Arts School in Brunswick, under the guidance of Ian and Leanne White. He travelled the world as a singer aboard Royal Caribbean Cruise Ships, before returning to forge a successful career on the Australian stage and screen.
Credits include the Australian tour of Miss Saigon and the Australian premiere of Altar Boyz playing Matthew (Green Room Award nomination.) Cameron covered Skye in the 10 year anniversary tour of Mamma Mia!, and enjoyed three years in the Australian and New Zealand tour of Jersey Boys, covering many roles.
Other theatre credits include playing Alex in Life’s a Circus, Jesus in Godspell and Private Augenti in Sondheim’s Passion. Most recently, Cameron starred in The Collective’s debut production Parade, playing the roles of Britt Craig/ Governor Slaton, for which he received a Green Room Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
TV credits include: Neighbours (Cory Helpmann), Blue Heelers (Jesse Dawson), The Dr Blake Mysteries (Nathan Eaton), 800 Words (Noah), and most recently The Divorce (ABC and Opera Australia).
