Alana Tranter • Waitress/Ensemble
Alana is a graduate of the Victorian College of The Arts (Bachelor of Music Theatre).
Alana’s recent theatre credits include Ellen in Miss Saigon, lead vocalist in the concert version of California Dreaming – The Music of the Mamas and the Papas, Carrie, Clarice in Dreamsong and Keren in David Williamsons Third World Blues.
She created the role of Maggie Kelly in the new Australian Musical Ned, which had a very successful season at the new Ulumbarra Theatre in Bendigo in May 2015.
She has also been seen around Melbourne and Sydney as a featured performer in Golden Oldies – A Night of Classic Broadway Tunes, Matthew Robinson’s New Voices, Oz Broadway, Hedger and Nicholson’s Worth the Breath and Home Grown.
Film and TV credits include Elizabeth in the feature film Lone Wolves, short films Heed, To Claire, Doghouse and Reset; roles in the TV series Communications and Punchliners; and webseries The Vonnegut Project and Sloppy Collars.
